Hi all - hoping for some advice please.

First time on JAL next week and flying SYD-NRT/HND-LHR in premium economy.

To qualify for the free hotel, passengers must be booked on the next possible connection through TYO.

In my case I am booked on the mid morning JL43. There is also JL41 leaving at 02:45am which would be a better connection and the first available - except it doesn't have a premium economy cabin.

So in my case as a Y+ passenger, the later JL43 is my first available connection, yet JAL res (in HKG) said I don't qualify.

Has anyone been in the same situation and been given a hotel - or denied! - or does anyone have advice on how I could escalate?
