FlyinHawaiian & dchristiva - thanks for the quick responses! I have been reading the various posts you guys are referring to for the last couple of days. I saw lots of nuggets out there, but nothing that really does a head to head of those 2 properties, likely because they cater to different markets. You tend to see more comparisons or the Ritz to the Four Seasons than Ritz to Marriott.

Right now I'm leaning towards Wailea, if only for the better weather vs. Kapalua. I've also expanded my research to the Renaissance.
