Forgive me, but what does that mean?

And are BA miles basically interchangeable with AA miles, meaning that if one has any interest in accumulating AA miles, he/she should take advantage of the Diners/ BA double miles promotion?

Additionally, can miles from One World partners be "mixed and matched" when booking award travel?
