Assuming the domestic ticket does allow for rebooking if your arrival flight is late, I'd not worry too much.
Chances with an on-time arrival during non-peak hours (ie, anything but in the early morning) and a boarding pass for the CA flight in hand (ie, properly checked in in advance) are good.
If queues are longer (or incoming is a bit delayed) at immigration, open your mouth/showing the CA flight should get you in front of the queue.
