How do you normally select a route like that? I'm trying to do June 15 (CX830) to June 21.

You can select Multi-city in AsiaMiles and pick CX830 for HKG-JFK segment, then something like JL005 for JFK-HND. For checking availability, the BA site seems to be the best for finding out availability for OneWorld award flights. Hope this helps~
