I did not really bring many souvenirs from this 6 month trip (I did not want to carry more than one checked-in bag), and was keeping as souvenirs only boarding passes, some hotel keycards, some business/first class menus, the entry tickets of some unesco sites and at least one coin and/or bill of each country visited...
Since I bought a house a couple months before starting that trip and needed to decorate it, I developed some pictures of this trip and displayed them in a metallic world map (from defunct neo dolce) on a big white wall in my living room. I however did not know how to furnish the walls of the stair case, so I decided to make a 6 creations using bank notes, boarding passes, Unesco sites tickets, hotel key cards and... luggage tags ! Puts a bit of color and reminds me this trip everytime I go upstairs :-)
