There are 3 former Ws in NYC. The original W New York (which was the first W ever) on Lexington, now the Maxwell, and there were also the W Court and the W something else next door to each other just south of Grand Central. Not sure if those two are still hotels or not.

In New Orleans there used to be 2 Ws, including the current one. The former other W is now the Le Meridien.
