Referring to what Rick has said about human agents, I use them sometimes but only when complicated sectors are involved. In your experience are they also better even in a point to point return too? would they be able to give a better fare than on the airline website?
I remember the good old days when ticketing agents using the manual can throw in an extra small sector based on the mileage without the extra charge.
