Right now there is no promotion on buying the Hyatt points. Will there be any in near future? February? March?

Currently no promos, but keep an eye out as Hyatt promos just pop up many times.
Another note is that award redemptions are changing in March so I would make your reservation at the latest on 2/28. That way if the rate goes up you’re not impacted and if it goes down you’ll be refunded the difference.
Other ways to get points between now and then -
Chase Sapphire Cards which have the ability to transfer points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio
Hyatt Credit Card
Just to keep your options open.
