Would I be able to check in / drop luggage / go through security at 2E for a flight leaving at 2G, and then take the airside bus to my flight afterwards?

My daughter is travelling out of 2E at 1030 and I have a flight out of 2G at 1240. Given the extra time, I thought I would see whether I could do this. We are both in J if that makes a difference.
