I'm trying to find award availability on the ANA site by using the "
Compare seat availability +/- 3 day" option, however, anecdotally no matter what combination of FROM & TO I use (e.g.: FROM: WAS/IAD/NYC/EWR/ORD/SFO/YYZ/YVR/FRA etc TO: TYO/NHD/NRT/KIX/SIN/HKG/PVG/NGO etc.) it anecdotally always seems to come back with:
There are no results that match your specified search criteria. Please change your criteria, and retry your search again.
Only flights that are currently available will be displayed for Star Alliance and Partner Airlines operating flights.

This prompted me to search on United's site but I'm not finding any ANA operated flights.
A few questions
- Am I doing it wrong? I'm completely open to that.
- Is the above expected behavior?
- Is there a better alternative for finding ANA availability?
