I have flown hundreds of flights on every type of aircraft imaginable. My history includes the Saab 340, EMB110, EMB120, Dash8-100, Dash-8-200, ERJ135/140/145, CRJ200/700/900, E-175/195 etc... in addition to every mainline jet imaginable. Turbulence can be a bit worse on the turboprops in a way. But I can tell no difference in turbulence going from the small regional jets to larger mainline jets. I happen to love the ERJ-145 series.
