FWIW this seems to be a generic problem with LH-group not showing baggage allowances for 016 (United) tickets. I have an upcoming business class trip, booked via UA, paid for with cash (credit-card). The E-ticket as issued by United clearly shows the 2x32kg baggage allowance. Outbound flight is a direct flight on LX (with LX flight number), and the LX and LH websites both show no luggage allowance - I even requested a copy of the E-ticket from Swiss, and that also shows no baggage allowance. The Swiss website even offers to let me buy more luggage allowance.
Similar things on another itinerary - this time short-haul LH J followed by long-haul UA J: LH website shows no baggage information, their e-ticket page errors out, OS shows no baggage information, LX shows no information and their e-ticket again shows no luggage (but at least in this case the LX website isn't offering to let me pay for more bags).
Rest assured, LX did NOT charge me for my checked in bag the last time I flew a similar itinerary, so they do seem to see the correct allowance at checkin. It's just their websites that suck.
as stupid as it is that they can't fix these problems ... as inconsequential it is as well.
