One night stay around Xmas. Diamond.
Checked in around 11:30am. Got a nice view room with less obstruction from Pan Pacific than last time.
Breakfast in Oscar was disappointing, but only b/c of my high expectations. It's not as good as I remember from 4 years ago, but I've been to many more hotels since then, so not sure how much of the perceived quality drop is simply due to my higher standard. As a comparison, I don't think the quality is much better than the breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi (which I stayed after this).
There was no line at 8am. By 9am there was a huge line.
Top floor lounge was completely full when I went around 6pm. Ended up going to the pool lounge. They said food is the same. I dislike the full service concept of the top floor lounge; I prefer to get what I want when I want it myself instead of relying on someone who may be very slow.
I was able to figure out walking to Marina Bay on my own. It took some trial and error. The aforementioned instructions in previous posts should be a big help.
