The call when OP was unable to do OLCI should have detected and fixed the ticket reissue problem, but OP should have tried again to do OLCI. AFAIK one should be able to at least get a "seat request" "boarding pass" if the problem really is the seat assignment. Also, whenever there are such ticket reissue problems after instrument supported upgrades have cleared, one can typically get the problem fixed at the airport if one arrives early enough. For a simple domestic ticket, this should be very easy to do.
