so, do you know of any airline, where they issue you a Y award ticket (their own metal or partner) that doesnt have checked bag privilege?
i honestly have not encountered yet, but my sample is not huge,
this is why i was a little taken aback when DL agents keep saying it wont include checked bag. (i was aware they are misinformed, but then i also couldnt verify the info unless i ticket it with them first)
I should rephrase slightly. Always, except when booking an airline where the normal (not BE) ticket doesn't include baggage. Ie a Y ticket on DL within US.
As this was booked on GOL for 1st flight as an award, (which always book using operating carrier code) you get whatever GOL offers. Brazil has very generous allowances because of the laws/rules there. Even foreign airlines have to comply.
