The Air France web site, in 2012, quoted in post 2, mirrors this language.

Today, however, the same page does not mention the 7-day rule, nor does it limit this benefit to tickets purchased in certain countries:

Do you think Air France changed their rule to a more permissive cancellation policy? Or is this just omitted? I searched and could not find any other place on the web site discussing this. The CoC (https://www.airfrance.us/US/en/commo..._airfrance.htm) is silent on this point.
I noticed this thing today with AF. Any update on how it works now?
