There is a situation where your excess miles could rollover to the next year, but I don't think that applies when you keep your status (silver) at June 5?
As stated by Xandrios you will have maintained your silver status. The flight in July will have no bearing in reaching gold within this qualification window. You will need to fly and additional 4000 miles BEFORE the 5th June if you would like to achieve Gold.
