It's not just U.S. domestic flights that are surcharge-free: all AA flights within the Americas (North and South), including Hawaii and the Caribbean, are surcharge free, as are LATAM flights worldwide, and QANTAS intra-Australia flights. And BAEC Avios are transferrable to the Iberia Plus FFP, if both accounts have at least one earned Avios, and have been open for at least 90 days. IB Plus redemptions on IB flights have low surcharges.
