If your profile says you need 22k and 4 segments to GOLD, you must either already be gold or a silver.

if you don’t have status, it won’t show that.
it will show required miles and segments to SILVER.

now that you are either already silver or gold, then it doesn’t matter how you accrue, as long as you get it done within the deadline.

however, if you are currently gold, your renewal date doesn’t change, only the year increases (5th/6/2020 -> 5th/6/2021)
if you are currently silver, then when you hit gold after the first flight that gets you over 22k miles, then that’s your gold renewal date. (It would be sometime before 5th June 2021, a year after your status qualifying date)
