Just a datapoint - I departed KLIA2 on Tuesday 7th at about 9am. There were no queues at all at check-in. Departure immigration took 5 minutes - if that - and there was no queue at security.

I didn’t particularly like the terminal but at least on this occasion it was a smooth departure.
