Any source for that? The official website does not mention a thing... That would be a return to some very bad practices of "downgrading" old Sofitels the operator (which may actually be Accor, if memory serves me right) does not want to update to MGallery or Pullman without any merit. I know Pullman wasn't an option because of the Pullman La Defense, but MGallery hotels are supposed to be boutique, unique and special, and this is just an upscale business hotel with slightly dated decor and a restaurant with no windows...

PS. I take it back, apparently there is a redesign - or at least somebody did visualization for it. It still is beyond me why of all brands would that be MGallery, not Swissotel, Raffles, 25hours or even one of the newly-acquired brands... IF at least they made it a European pied-a-terre for the 21c Museum Hotels collection, which would be very apt in La Defense, that could justify the branding...
