Just been turned away from the Santamaria lounge in SJO as gold travelling J on BA ticket but on AA metal...I gather the rejection was correct as AA doesn’t offer lounge access here apparently?!

BUT...should we have been given a voucher instead of lounge access or is that just a BA thing?

as a toy sloth is $40 I dare to look at the cost of food/drink
