I just completed a 3 night stay at the Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan). It's a beautiful old classic hotel, but there are some things you should know.
- As stated by others, there is no longer an executive lounge
- The main restaurant, 720, is closed, as is it's lounge
- There is no room service available
- The only food options are Kitty O'Shea's bar, and the quick-bite Herb N' Kitchen carry out
I don't know if these closings are only temporary or what. 720 had all the tables still set and a row of chafing dishes still out. I found it quite odd that a top tier Hilton lacked a full service restaurant and any room service.
Thanks for the update. What are they doing for the breakfast benefit now that the restaurant is closed?
