Had an excellent 3 night stay at New Hotel back in October 2019. Room is on the smallish side, but comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff are excellent and super friendly (seems like most Greek people we met were super friendly). Location is great, as it's very close to Plaka and Syntagma Square and feels very safe even late at night. We also walked to the Acropolis and Acropolis museum without feeling like it' being too far of a walk. Maybe because we went in October, where temperature was in the 70s. I can see this being a drag in the summer months though. I'd definitely wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I'm in Athens, although I most likely would like to try other Bonvoy properties.
