This raises a question I have had. If I waitlist an F saver award but book an F advantage award, is there any chance I might clear the waitlist and cancel the advantage award in favor of the saver.

I did book F advantage before and wait list on a couple of F saver. Once the F saver waitlist is cleared, I cancelled the F advantage and re-booked with F saver. But I have done with flights on different date and not the same day and exact flight. (Hence the post)
