AA Challenge

Things have been going dowhhill for some time.

I've talked to AA & things look good. I'm to mail them a printout of my DL activity. Don't know what their exact offer will be, but the AA lady I talked to thought my 4.8 MM & 203,730 Medallion® Qualification Miles so far this year will help.
As some of you are thinking about switching to other carriers, AA has a program that might be of value. It's the Gold/Platinum Challenge. All you have to do is call AA and sign up for the challenge. You need to fly 5,000 QM in 90 days (you pick the start date, either the 1st or 16th of any given month) or 10,000 QM for Platinum.

If you think about it, it is a very easy challenge. A flight from DFW to FRA is 5,130 miles. I think AA has a deal for $366+tax, so for $450 you get to drink some good beer and become Platinum.

No statements or cards to be mailed in, so it is very customer focused.
