Recently upgraded to Executive Suite (a Standard Suite) at HC Magnificent Mile. I emailed ahead because the stay was for my SO’s birthday and they replied saying,

”We will alert reservation and do our best to accommodate EXCK room type if it is available”.

I checked again the day of the reservation to see to see if one was available during our dates and I messaged them via the live chat option in the app after doing the online check in. They said you’ve been upgraded to the Suite.

Room is nice, pretty spacious and enjoyable for three people.

FDA at the special desk for Hyatt “Elite Members” made sure to thank us for being Globalist, let us know about breakfast, and was overall good. He seemed a bit thrown when we checked in as Globalists likely because of our age (late 20’s). Other than that good overall experience at the property.

Pool and Jacuzzi are very small though just to note.
