I enjoyed two and half glasses of Dom Perignon at the LGA D Skyclub yesterday for the price of one.

The bartender poured half a glass and said it looked a bit flat. She gave that to me gratis and opened a new bottle for a fresh, full glass. Then for the second glass I accidentally used my wife’s boarding pass to pay for it, ha!

For us it makes sense because Delta is a distant third on the miles collection side and I’m never going to earn enough for anything useful. It’s nice to have some “premium” uses for those otherwise 20,000 or so orphaned miles we each have.
