It was a nice place to sit with your coffee, and read the newspaper or work.
They've moved the lounge to a small, windowless room off the bar that I can only assume used to be the staff breakroom or a supply closet or something. Only a few chairs and small tables, and when I arrived it was being monopolized by a large, loud family. In the previous lounge you could have moved to the other side of the room, but in this one there IS no other side of the room. I grabbed a terrible coffee from the automatic machine (there was no milk available for coffee, or lids for the takeaway cups) and stale muffin and got the heck out of there. It was really unpleasant and claustrophobic.
The previous lounge has been converted into a couple of empty conference rooms.
I’d complain about it, and mention it in any public reviews.
