I have a chase explorer card and want to get the club card. Is there a way to upgrade? Do I call Chase? I am 1K and see I have the promo for the first year fee waived (but then no miles) but looks like I just need to apply for the card so I will have both cards.

Also, with the Club Card, do they waive the fees if you cancel an award ticket a few days before the flight? As 1K, there is no fee, but this might be my last year as 1K.
