I've flown these airlines
Cathay, Japan Airlines, Qatar all in biz to Asia and or TYO.
I found Qatar Qsuite the best if you're looking for "an amazing business class experience"
Jal Biz and First Class would be my second choice, Cathay biz third choice.
Best bang for your points-You might also consider where each will allow you a free or cheap stop-over or long lay-over
IE: Cathay with a stop in Hong Kong
Qatar with a stop in Doha

pen jaw fly into Japan Tokyo NRT or HND take the bullet train to Osaka, fly out of Osaka after checking it out (well worth it imho)
You could also catch a cheap flight from Japan to South Korea or Jeju Island (the Hawaii of Korea)

If you're gonna only be out that way once with no plans for a return anytime in the near future why not milk it and get in as much as you can on the cheap....
