May be closure of the Maglev will happen, when there is no more need for that interchange on Line 2. But this has been now like this for ages.
Line 2 now has direct trains to/from PVG at certain times.
I don't mind the Guanglan Rd transfer myself because it is easy.
What I dislike about Line 2 is the fact that it is super crowded, and it is slow.
