I was also experiencing performance issues similar to those described above browsing the site on my 2019 iMac (Mac OS 10.15.2, Firefox 72.0.1). No such problems on my iPad and iPhone though.

I installed and ran CCleaner. What a difference, pages are now appearing instantly.
