I find this quite frustrating given all the advertising for Gold/Diamond members indicates breakfast at most HH properties but then for HGI’s you have to burrow into your profile and set it to breakfast.

It’s a pity they don’t make it easier for members and default the setting to breakfast and provide an option for switch to points at checkin if you don’t want the breakfast. Much better experience for members and little impact to their costs.
