Seat etiquette

This is related to the "irritable flyer" thread, but more specific.

We "know" that there are certain rules for seats (upright for takeoff & landing, etc.) but there is also "Seat Etiquette". The most common SE rule is
Do not recline your seat before the end of the meal on long-haul. Do not recline your seat at all on shorthaul (if seat behind is occupied).
Unfortunately, when flying Steerage, many of my fellow travellers are poorly schooled, so I have a few additions -
My seat is not your handrail. Attempt to stand as if rising from a normal chair, and LET ME SLEEP

The pocket in front of you shares space with my lower back. Please no more than six hardcover books and three water bottles. Restrain your rummaging to once every 30 minutes during hours of sleep.
Any others?
