Needless to say that premium will vary with the cost of the trip (as it covers more than just emergencies), its length, and the age of the insured. To be clear, "get you home" does not specify class of service or routing, so I presume that unless a premium cabin or even medevac aircraft is required, one is in steerage.
In the US, the premium may vary with cost of the trip - from places like UK, EI and AU , premium is not based on price of the trip , but regions visited- there are optional extras - such as cover for skiing or certain activities , but not for price of the trip
