Glad some of you are able to 'outsmart' the AMEX Plat Credit but frankly for me it is one reason I dislike AMEX (after being a 40 year memeber) and dropped my personal cards (still have a Corporate Plat).
With CorpCard airline credit is only 100 but the 'run around' of designating an airline to qualify and guessing what qualifies is a big frustration for a premium CC.

Chase Sapphire Reserve makes life easy and not sure why anyone would pay the huge Plat premium unless maybe the flew to all the airports with AMEX lounges.. JMHO
