Even if you pick up (which is what I do), you have to watch out for inflated prices because most restaurants mark up their standard menu price to account for DoorDash's cut. For example, a local fried chicken place that I frequent offers a half chicken for $10.99 on their menu. That same chicken is $12.99 on DoorDash, whether you pick up or get delivery.
Very useful post, thanks. I have several pick options in my area I normally carry out from a few times a year so this should be rather easy. Menu prices in DD seemed to be as they are on the company websites so that's good as well. Seems like it's 1:1 for me on the $60 credit. Easy to for me to get $40 out of the Lyft bennies (15% off and 7x extra UR) as well. Will see what 2021 holds when lyft does or does not continue.
