I would be flying into JNB and returning from CPT. If I chose UA for the flights its $400 a ticket more and the travel time is 9-14 hours longer.

The way my trip would pan out if I flew SAA would be:

SAA- JFK-JNB
Airlink - JNB-SZK
Airlink -SZK-CPT
SAA - CPT-JFK

I would be flying on SAA for just the international flights. The domestic flights would be on Airlink.

The other option I have is to fly Emirates for international and but separate tickets with Airlink for domestic flights. It would cost $400 a ticket more and it would add 8 hours more travel time.
