Are you sure you were in PP? Purple seats that feel like domestic first? Leg rest? Or were you in Economy Plus? Did you pay extra for PP? Was your ticket sold in a different class of service?
Definitely a P+ seat. I'm a longtime UA flyer and well familiar with the products and classes. Been on many Polarized aircraft over the last few years but never flew the in the actual cabin. Only J or Y cabins. We were surprised. I called UA about getting my plus points extended until 30 Apr but didn't bring this up. Wanted some confirmation from others here on what the service was supposed to be like. I know UA's history of over-advertising and under-delivering so maybe a crap experience was supposed to be normal..
