I hope that you understand the risks of doing this.
1. If there is IRROPS, BA will reroute you to that third country and not Thailand.
2. If BA flight is delayed and you miss your TG flight, things become complicated. TG may or may not put on standby for the next flight. There are two TG flights a day from DEL. They might want you to buy a new ticket altogether. This can be done online or you many have to visit the ticketing counter outside the airport for which you will need a visa.
3. Make sure to not mention these multiple tickets/ skiplagged type situation to anyone at the TG counter and/or immigration/emigration (in case you come out of the airport). People don't understand skipping segments very well in Indian airports and somebody might flag it as some sort of security risk. Especially when multiple country destinations are involved.
