Latest Update on Issue
Dear All,
I received the same notification, and had to re-book my flight with a different airline as I only retrieved the notification email after the 48-hour deadline. However, I managed to contact AA's customer service center. Please be informed that AA is looking into this issue and should be able to provide further clarifications this week. I've highlighted that other passengers are experiencing the same issue. Hope they will resolve this .
