Not sure if I’m posting in the right area or not. Apologies if not. Believe it or not, EXP from the US and NEVER been to LHR in 40 years of flying.

My question is in regards to the ePassport lanes or equivalent for fastest processing. I have a Valid US Passport (though I have no idea if it has a chip or not??) I have Global Entry as well as the little Global Entry card which I believe does have a chip in it. I don’t have a U.K. Visa not sure if I need one.

My question is, what do I need to use the “fast lanes” at LHR, I think they are the ePassport lanes, but maybe there’s something else there? Do I have to get a VISA? Does my EXP status do anything?

Curious what my options are for those with experience. Thanks!
