The Executive Level Lounge will be closed 1/1/20-4/15/20. Continental Breakfast will be offered at Café on Oak and one complimentary appetizer with non-alcoholic beverage service for two guests, daily, at Coq d'Or.
..., i thought i can finally see what this lounge looks like despite people said how dumpy it was, and this is one of the two lounges remain in chicago properties (hilton suites is the other ?) 
I stayed there a long time ago and was denied lounge access as a diamond since I wasn't on the exec level and was told it was due to the small size and they couldn't accommodate all the diamonds and those on the exec level and they were only going to offer me continental breakfast and I complained to the GM and they gave me two full breakfasts each day (can't remember if it was a buffet or not) and IIRC gave me vouchers for appetizers at night.
The Palmer House still has a lounge in Chicago. I was there Dec 28 to January 1 and the lounge was closed on 12/30 and 12/31 and they were giving diamonds and people on the exec floor a voucher for the managers choice of appetizer for 2 and 2 free soft drinks (the one night we went it was a couple egg rolls that weren't that good and we didn't go down the second night). The lounge at the palmer house was really crowded the one night we went up there but there a couple large groups of people up there and someone actually brought their dog up and had it at the table and the lounge attendants didn't say a thing
fortunately you can have breakfast in the restaurant instead of the lounge at Palmer house
