I was checking other promos with Citibank, a while ago you got a 5000 mile bonus for putting your AA ticket on the card. Then I noticed here on FT about other people getting offers of 5000 (CBS05), 10000 (CBS10), 25000 CBS25), or double miles (RTBNS) if the ticket was purchased using the card. I used the registration code to sign-up, then sent a letter to AA questioning WHY I wasn't targeted to be offered these offers. They refered me to Citibank, Citibank sent me a response that these "targeted" customers are randomly selected to enroll in particular offers; and, since I was not included in the mailings, I would not be eligible. "Perhaps, you will be offered a promotion in the future." Kinda makes you feel slighted, don't you think ? BTW, there is not a promo "CBS01", I just checked !
