I do the trip every two months, and I'm a Gold member. Doing the run again on Sunday, and the WTP cabin has only one free seat - so fingers crossed.
You're obviously past the BA sweet-spot where the algorithm believes you have the potential to spend more money!
(I haven't had a 'normal' upgrade for c.3 years - i.e. ignoring onboard 'moves', aircraft changes or non-BA, but I'm grateful for such things when they do happen...)
