I simply want the benefits I earned by giving loyalty to Marriott not having to carry a T&C sheet in my pocket every time I check in to see what changed. Lounge benefit at a full Marriott is as primitive a benefit as they come....
been at this game too long to care about impressing anyone and suites etc on a work trip while solo all that stuff I dont care it’s just another hotel room.
You keep blaming Marriott but they have nothing to do with you booking that rate. If it was Hyatt, Hilton, or whatever, it would be the same. You need to take it up with your employer/your company's travel manager/CTA as to why they allow these rates (cost cutting most likely) and to how to avoid them in the future.
