AAdvantage - Aviator Red
Following up from previous post.
I called and was transferred to the retention department, but the agent said there were no offers for waivers or statement credits on my account. I asked if perhaps I erred in not calling sooner and they said no.
They told me I would have 60 days from the time of the fee posting to cancel or downgrade to get the full $99 returned.
I was given the option to downgrade to the free AAdvantage card (can't remember name) OR upgrade to the Silver card with no additional fees other than the $99 Red fee. With the $100 Global Entry credit and $25 per day meal credits, I'm considering it and will give it a better look.
