I used O'Hare as my gateway into the US a few weeks ago, arriving on the earlier BA295. Immigation was packed but moved quickly. We landed in the immediate wake of an RJ and EK flight so the processing took about 25 minutes to complete. ORD also has Global Entry which is much snappier experience.

As ORD is a business heavy route, the 747 flights are predominately Hi J aircraft, with all the latest IFE contained within.

Chicago is a fabulous city. Hotel and airbnb taxes can be quite hefty but I suppose we can be thankful we're not paying the brutal residential property taxes those living there endure.
